In March, teens from across the Midwest (and the country) reunited in Ingleside, IL for Midwest Convention 2026!
It was a spirited YJ weekend as YJ Teens gathered for the largest Midwest Convention in years! Teens from across the region came together for a classic YJ weekend filled with Shabbat, Havdalah, rikkud, and meaningful programming planned by our Midwest Mazkirut.
This year’s theme was “Aese–Forest.” Through peulot, teens explored the idea of connecting to our “roots”—to a land and to an idea—while reflecting on where we come from and where we are headed. The weekend also included conversations around this year’s National Initiative.
