New Jersey YJ Baking

This is a New Jersey Young Judaea cookie baking event! As we bake our cookies we will discuss the importance of Jewish tradition through food. We will talk about the Jewish evolution of food as well in order to teach our YJ importance about the importance of maintaining Jewish tradition to keep Judaism alive!

Ingredients:
-2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon baking soda
-1/2 teaspoon baking powder
-1 cup butter, softened
-1 1/2 cups white sugar
-1 egg
-1 teaspoon vanilla extract
-frosting (store bought or homemade)
-baking sheet
