TY campers make a difference on the Hill

On Tuesday, July 10, 2018, AJC Washington Regional Office welcomed 15 campers, incoming high school Juniors, from Camp Tel Yehudah. Campers learned about AJC’s advocacy work on a global and national level, as well as methods for advocating on Capitol Hill. Speakers included Susan Sloan, Assistant Regional Director for AJC Washington, Benjy Rogers, Assistant Director of Policy, Jillian Laskowitz, Senior Associate of Political Outreach, and Daniela Greene, Assistant Director of Belfer Institute for Latino and Latin America. Following the visit, campers advocated on Capitol Hill for stricter measures against anti-Semitism and hate crimes.
