PAYMENT SCHEDULE

To make planning and budgeting easier, payments for Young Judaea Teen Summer Travel will be broken into regular monthly installments beginning in the first month in which the participant is officially registered.

With registration: A program deposit is due with registration and required to secure your spot. Please note that the deposit paid at registration will be applied toward the program's final balance.

All registrations that occur after March 25, 2026, must be paid in full within 14 days. If you register within 14 days of the start of your summer program, you must pay in full immediately. Program prices are subject to some change and are not guaranteed until you complete your registration with a deposit.

Families are responsible for paying the balance in full minus any scholarship awards they are expecting to maintain a current account balance. This includes families traveling to Israel with a RootOne Voucher. If your family overpays for their teen’s experience—which results in an account overage—Young Judaea will refund your family (or funder) for your account overage by sending a check in the FALL after account reconciliations have been completed.

METHOD OF PAYMENT

Payment is accepted in the Regpack system by e-check/ACH or credit card. Should you wish to pay by credit card, a non-refundable convenience fee of 3% will be assessed for all payments; please note that this fee is non-refundable and will not be returned in the event of cancelation. All posted prices are in US Dollars.

If you wish to pay by check, please include a note in the envelope with the name and program of the participant, send it to:

RootOne Voucher

RootOne helps thousands of Jewish teens travel to Israel each summer for a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

RootOne is an ambitious initiative, seeded by a generous gift from The Marcus Foundation and powered by The Jewish Education Project.

As teens embark on a complex journey of enrolling in college and entering adulthood, solidifying their Jewish identity is critical. The value and impact of Israel summer programs on Jewish teens has been proven to better connect them to their identity and community, as well as increase their confidence and empower them.

In order to receive a RootOne Voucher for a Young Judaea Teen Summer Travel program, an individual must be a current 10th or 11th grade Jewish teen, must reside in the United States or Canada and must be accepted to a Young Judaea program. RootOne Voucher recipients must also complete pre-trip early experience requirements, participate in post-trip engagement opportunities, and sign the required releases.
