Our panel includes: \nAnni Katz: (Moderator): NPR journalist known for her thoughtful reporting and her ability to guide nuanced conversations on complex social and political issues. With a background in public radio and long-form storytelling\, she brings a calm\, incisive approach to facilitating dialogue across differing perspectives.Anni co-founded and co-hosted Dailysonic\, a narrative-based news podcast. She interned at WNYC’s On The Media\, then becoming WNYC’s assistant producer of Morning Edition. Anni is a YJ alum having participated in local clubs (1988-1995)\, Tel Yehudah (1997\, 2001\, 2005)\, and Year Course (1998). \nNoah Efron: Noah Efron is a member of Tel Aviv-Jaffa’s City Council\, representing the green party\, Hayarok Bamerkaz\, and chair of the municipal Committee on Pluralism and Committee on Environment & Sustainability. Efron hosts TLV1’s ‘The Promised Podcast’. He is also chair of the Graduate Program on Science\, Technology & Society at Bar Ilan University. He’s written lots about the intertwine of science\, technology\, religion and politics. Noah is a YJ alum who attended Camp Tel Yehudah in 1974. \nDavid Hazony: David Hazony is an award-winning editor\, journalist\, translator and author. He is the editor of Jewish Priorities (Wicked Son\, 2023)\, the former editor-in-chief of the journal Azure and was the founding editor of TheTower.org. His book The Ten Commandments (Scribner\, 2010) was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award. His translation of Uri Bar-Joseph’s The Angel (HarperCollins\, 2016) was a winner of the National Jewish Book Award. He has edited two previous anthologies: Essential Essays on Judaism by Eliezer Berkovits (Shalem\, 2002)\, and\, with Yoram Hazony and Michael B. Oren\, New Essays on Zionism (Shalem\, 2007). He has a Ph.D. in Jewish Philosophy from the Hebrew University and lives in Jerusalem. David is a YJ alum having participated in local clubs (1985-86)\, Camp Sprout Lake\, and Tel Yehudah (1984-1986). \nCindy Greenberg: Cindy is a senior leader at Repair the World\, where she works at the intersection of Jewish values\, civic engagement\, and community building. Her experience focuses on helping communities navigate moral complexity\, sustain relationships across difference\, and translate values into action. Cindy Greenberg is President & CEO of Repair the World\, leading the Jewish service movement. Cindy believes that service and caring for the vulnerable are not just Jewish values\, but the central narrative of the Jewish people. That conviction has shaped her leadership journey from launching Repair the World NYC—where she built a robust model of Jewish service in partnership with communities in Central Brooklyn and Harlem—to guiding thousands of students during fifteen years at Hillel\, including as executive director of NYU’s Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life. Cindy is married to a Judaean. \nHadar Susskind: Hadar is the President and CEO of New Jewish Narrative\, where he works to advance a vision of justice\, equality\, and dignity for both Israelis and Palestinians. He brings decades of experience in Jewish communal leadership and advocacy\, with a focus on navigating moral responsibility\, power\, and pluralism within Jewish life. Hadar has served as a senior professional leader at the Council on Foundations\, Bend the Arc Jewish Action\, the Tides Foundation\, J Street\, and the Jewish Council of Public Affairs. Hadar is married to a Judaean and is in a three generational YJ family.
