Who is eligible for Taglit-Birthright Israel?

There are now NEW ELIGIBILITY RULES for Taglit-Birthright Israel!  Now, the opportunity is open to Jews between the ages of 18-26 who have never been on an organized trip to Israel with a peer program of seven days or longer AFTER THE AGE OF 18!

This means that if you went before turning 18 – for a summer, with a school, or other – you’re still eligible!

Visit the Taglit-Birthright Israel site for further info on eligibility.

Are the eligibility rules serious?

The generous funders of the Taglit-Birthright Israel gift have established clear eligibility rules for the program, and we expect all applicants to respect these rules with the highest level of seriousness.

Each applicant to the program must sign a Trip Waiver Form that verifies they are eligible for the program. Applicants who attempt to lie in order to secure a spot on the trip are committing fraud and will be held legally and financially accountable for their actions. If you have questions regarding your eligibility, please contact Young Judaea before registering.
