One Happy Camper!
$1,000 Incentive Grants for First Time Campers

The Foundation for Jewish Camp (FJC), in partnership with Young Judaea and Hadassah, offers $1,000 incentive grants to first-time overnight Jewish campers. Summer camp will provide your child with a sense of independence, amazing new skills, a stronger Jewish identity, and tons of FUN!
Eligibility is determined by camp in partnership with the Foundation for Jewish Camp.
The One Happy Camper Program was created with the goal of inspiring new campers to try Jewish overnight camp. The philanthropists behind this program understand that it’s difficult to reach Jews that find themselves on the margins or even outside of Jewish life. Thus, One Happy Camper incentives generally apply to families whose children do not attend Jewish day school or yeshiva.
Last summer, these programs helped more than 10,000 new campers enjoy the time of their lives at Jewish summer camp. Young Judaea welcomed over 150 new campers in 2011. This year, let us help the new camper in your family enjoy an unforgettable summer.
