Arrival By Plane Flights must arrive to A space on the bus from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) to camp will automatically be reserved for you. Participants will be responsible for retrieving their baggage on their own and meeting the Young Judaea staff and participants at a specific location at Baggage Claim. From there, a bus will take all participants to the hotel. Participants who cannot find a flight that land by 2:00pm on Friday, February 17th can join us on Thursday, February 16th by arriving on a flight that arrives between 5-7pm, for a $40 extra-night fee.
Flights must depart from A space on the bus from the camp to the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS) will automatically be reserved for you. The Young Judaea staff will designate a specific location at the airport in order to make sure all flights depart safely and to be available to help in case of an emergency (flight delay, cancellation, etc.) **All participants whose flights cost are over $400 are eligible for a travel subsidy of up to $100**
We will be offering a bus between Houston and CYJ Texas. If you'd like to reserve a spot on the bus, please let us know by emailing us at yjconvention@youngjudaea.org. The fee for a spot on the bus is $50 round trip. The Houston bus will depart from the Camp Young Judaea Texas office at 9:30am on Friday, February 17th and will depart CYJ Texas at 10:00am on Monday, February 20th. Participants are also welcomed to be dropped off at convention by 3:00pm on the Friday, February 17, 2011 and 10:00am on Monday, February 20, 2011. Participants are NOT allowed to drive themselves to CYJ Texas. Bus transport and parent drop off are the only local travel permitted. |
