Evan Gildenblatt
Evan Gildenblatt, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, is a junior at Kent State University majoring in Applied Conflict Management and minoring in Jewish Studies. He has a long and storied history with Young Judaea after attending camp at CYJ Midwest and Tel Yehudah, serving on both the Midwest and National Mazkiruyout, and spending an absolutely amazing nine months in Israel with Year Course. Evan will be working at Camp Tel Yehudah this summer as an omanut specialist and will then return to Kent State during the year where he serves as a director on the student government.
Emily Seckel
Emily Seckel will be a Junior at The George Washington University this fall majoring in Accountancy and minoring in Economics. Emily has been involved in Young Judaea for many years. Originally she was a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania Mazkirut and during the 2008-2009 academic year she served on the National Mazkirut as Merkezet Artzit and attended Year Course in 2009-2010. Emily enjoys many things including traveling, sports, and hanging out on the mall or exploring the monuments with her friends now that she lives in DC.
Noah Berman
Noah Berman is a junior at Cornell University in Near Eastern Studies. He has been involved in Young Judaea since 2000, having served on Mazkirut for four years and entering his third summer on the staff of Camp Tel Yehudah. He plans on making Aliyah post-college and working in the NGO sector.
Allison Rovensky
Hi! I'm Alli Rovensky, and I am a Junior at Goucher College studying Anthropology/Sociology and Peace Studies, and am originally from Flemington, NJ.
I started going to YJ camps at Sprout Lake in 2001, went to Tel Yehudah, Machon 2008, and have worked at TY since 2009. I am excited to take my Young Judaea passion and work with the 2011-2012 Mazkiriot and Tikkun Groups on social justice and environmental issues this coming year. I will be abroad in the Fall studying in Ghana, but will still be able to work with everyone and is excited to share the experiences I have with the rest of the movement next year!
