Young Judaea is looking for a dynamic, friendly, and outgoing Field Representative for all marketing and recruitment/sales initiatives in the Northeast region of the United States.
This includes generating leads and recruiting participants for Young Judaea’s programs in Israel, following up with programs alumni and positioning Young Judaea within the Jewish communities located in the North East.
The Field Representative will be based in New York and report directly to Young Judaea Israel’s Marketing Director. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and entrepreneurial self-starter with a love of Israel and social activism to positively influence Jewish youth in North America by encouraging them to participate on long- and short-term programs in Israel.
Field Representative must be committed to achieving measurable results and holding her/himself accountable for producing them.
Execute the goals and priorities assigned by the Marketing Director
Maintain deep knowledge of all YJ program offerings
Generate and qualify leads for potential program participants
Regularly work with database/CRM to identify leads and follow-up
Contact and meet guidance and career counselors, teachers, and other influencers to explain benefits of each program
Provide information regarding admission requirements and program benefits to prospective participants and parents via phone, e-mail and personal visits; follow up with e-mail or phone call, as appropriate
Plan, coordinate and organize individual in-home meetings, information sessions and webinars for potential participants
Produce follow-up reports regarding activities and future plans
Execute tasks related to the implementation of marketing and communications strategies
Maintain relationships with local alumni
Develop active cohorts of young alumni who will meet at least once a month to engage in group learning and organize learning hub leadership councils
Participate in all hub meetings and activities, assist in the on-site teaching and program coordination
Network in targeted communities, develop and maintain relationships with key partners, influencers, and prospects
Ability to work independently
Exceptional organizational ability, fast learner, with a positive attitude
Excellent customer service skills
Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in all situations
Past Israel experience
Knowledge of Regpak and database systems a plus.
Young Judaea Alum is a plus.
Position is year-long, full-time and is not suitable for students
