What happens at the Seminar?
TILT participants will “unpack” their own experience and also take part in specialized training by expert Israel educators and activists to bring Israel back to their homes and communities. The program will take place at Camp Tel Yehudah in Barryville, NY and will run from August 1-3, 2014.
How much does TILT cost?
The fee is $275.

What are the travel guidelines?
All participants will be traveling together from the airport on the morning of August 1st. A bus will take all of the TILT participants to camp. Flights must depart from Newark International Airport (EWR) or JFK on Sunday August 3rd, 2014 between 6pm and 8pm.
Parents may pick up their teens at Newark Airport, Terminal A, Door 8, Arrivals Level at 6pm on Sunday, August 3rd. If you are flying out of JFK, please arrange your flights for after 6pm on Sunday, August 3rd. If you would like to pick up your teen from camp, please contact me at email@example.com – since camp is in session, we need to coordinate this with the camp administration.
I can only find flights that arrive after or depart before/after the times you listed. Can I still take them?
Unfortunately we cannot offer that much leeway on this, the TILT schedule is precise and our time is extremely limited. Flights must depart at the prescribed times. If a participant tries to book a flight that departs before 6pm on August 3rd, they will run the risk of not making his/her flight.
Will there be medical staff at TILT?
YES! Young Judaea will have a Registered Nurse at camp to staff TILT (it will be the camp nurse) and deal with any medical situations that might arise during the weekend. Participants who take medication will need to provide (a form will be sent) By law, no participant will be allowed to keep medications, either over the counter or prescribed, in bunks. Medications will be distributed by our nurse at the appropriate time.
What is the cancellation policy for TILT?
If you cancel your participation between registration and July 15th, you will be eligible for a 50% program fee. If you cancel your registration after July 15th, you will not be eligible for a refund.
Young Judaea reserves the right to cancel TILT, or change any of the itinerary due to low enrollment security or other reason as determined by Young Judaea’s sole and absolute discretion.
Program prices are subject to change in Young Judaea’s sole and absolute discretion. Young Judaea shall not be held responsible for fees or damages associated with such cancellation that participants may incur.
Regardless of when you cancel, if cancellation occurs after you have purchased an airline ticket, you will be responsible for the full price of the airline ticket. In the event Young Judaea cancels TILT, Young Judaea shall not be responsible for any fees or damages associated with such cancellation that participant may incur (including flights). No refunds will be given for participants who are dismissed and/or otherwise removed from or leave TILT for any reason (voluntary or involuntary) once the program has commenced.
Note: All flight expenses are the responsibility of the participant.
