Young Judaea is a Peer Led Youth Movement which highly values the creativity and input of its teen leaders. There are a number of different entities which assist in guiding Young Judaea, including the National Mazkirut (National Board), MODEL Fellowship, and local college-age Senior Advisors.

NATIONAL MAZKIRUT
The Mazkirut Merkazi (National/Central Board) is the preeminent teen leadership and movement governance body.
The Mazkirut Positions are as Follows:
The Mazkir/a (President) chairs the Mazkirut Merkazit (National Board) and co-chairs Va’ad Artzit (Regional Representatives Committee) with the Merakez/et Artzit. S/he represents the t’nua (movement) to all outside groups or has the right to delegate representation. S/he has the authority to act in the name of the t’nua. S/he is responsible for meeting with all the different departments of national and Yehudah Hatzair and working with them to incorporate a year-round movement agenda into their goals for the upcoming year. S/he will especially work with Tel Yehudah to bring year-round movement ideals and presence into the summer programs at camp.
The Merekez/et Irgun (Administrative Vice President) is responsible for the functioning of all national activities of Yehudah Hatzair. S/he is responsible for meeting with all the different departments of national Yehudah Hatzair and working with them to incorporate a year- round movement agenda into their goals for the upcoming year. S/he coordinates Veidot Leumiot, the field tripping system, and is in charge of treasury and Kupah systems. S/he must communicate frequently with the Director of Administration. S/he must also actively work to ensure high participation rates nationally. S/he must also communicate frequently with the staff of YJ Impact to strengthen its connection to Young Judaea.
The Merekez/et Chinuch L’Bogrim (Chair for High School Age Programming) is responsible for implementing theme ideas, providing resources for azorim (regions), circulating new implementations, coordinating communication between Merekzei Chinuch L’Bogrim (Regional High School Programmers), compiling chovrot (kits) on specific topics, programming Veidot Leumiot (National Conventions), and sending out current events newsletters. S/he, along with the mazkir/ah, must communicate frequently with the staff of Tel Yehudah in order to incorporate year-round movement ideals and presence into the summer programs at camp.
The Merekez/et Chinuch L’Ofarim V’Tsofim (Chair for 3rd-8th Grade Programming) is responsible for implementing theme ideas, providing resources for azorim (regions), circulating new implementations, coordinating communication between Merekzei Chinuch L’Ofarim v’Tsofim (Regional 3rd-8th Grade Programmers), and compiling chovrot (kits) on specific topics. S/he must communicate frequently with the staff of Young Judaea junior camps in order to incorporate year-round movement ideals and presence into the summer programs at these camps.
The Merekez/et Chinuch L’Tikkun Olam (Chair of Social Action Programming) is responsible for creating themes and implementing projects, providing resources for the azorim (regions), circulating kits, ideas, and new implementations between azorim, coordinating communication between Merekzei Chinuch L’ Tikkun Olam (Regional Social Action Programmers) and compiling chovrot (kits) on specific topics, organizing National Tikkun Olam programs that will be approved at National Conventions or by the Va’ad Artzit. The purpose of Merekez/et Chinuch L’Tikkun Olam is to ensure that tikkun olam is being implemented on a large scale in every region, regardless of whether a specific azor has a Merekez/et Chinuch L’Tikkun Olam on their Mazkirut. S/he must communicate frequently with the staff of Year Course in order to incorporate year-round movement ideals and presence into the Year Course program.
The Merekez/et Pirsumim (Chair of Communications) is responsible for producing at least four editions of Kol Hat’nua annually (the last summer issue to give out at National Summer Convention). It is the Merakez/et Pirsumim’s duty to publish at least two formal updates for the leadership of the movement with the help of the Merakez/et Artzit, which includes updates about YJ Impact, Year Course, and the rest of ATID. This publication will serve in exchanging ideas between all levels of leadership in Yehudah Hatzair (Young Judaea), suggest implementation of any movement-wide campaigns or projects, and give specific updates in what each member of Mazkirut Merkazit is accomplishing for the t’nua.The medium and method of circulation of the publication will be at the Merakez/et Pirsumim’s discretion.
The Merekez/et Pirsumim shall have full editorial responsibility to oversee all aspects of the Yehudah Hatzair websites. The Merekez/et Pirsumim should actively work to publicize and gain recognition for Yehudah Hatzair’s events and activities by regularly pursuing all forms of outside media (newspaper, websites, television, etc.) as a public relations manager. S/he must communicate frequently with the staff of Israel Summer Programs in order to incorporate year-round movement ideals and presence into these summer programs. Must also communicate with director of YJ alumni to make sure alumni are up to date with movement activity.
